Welcome to Wake Up! Wakeboarding, Koh Phangan

We are a professional organisation specialising in wakeboarding run by wakeboarders, situated in the Gulf of Thailand on the island of Koh Phangan. All our wakeboarding is done in Chaloklum Bay, a quiet fishing village in the north of Koh Phangan.

The bay has a 3km long playground surrounded by the tallest mountains on the island, giving maximum wind protection for the flattest water in the Gulf of Thailand.

Learning from qualified, native English-speaking instructors you’ll ride behind a custom designed wakeboard boat with wake tower and ballast that carves the monster wake you will need for big air jumps and flips!

With regularly updated top brand boards, bindings, spectra lines/handles and impact vests, you are guaranteed the best wakeboarding experience in the Gulf of Thailand. We now also have wakeskates for those wanting to use the wake like a half-pipe or bowl, and for the old school, water skis and mono skis are on offer.

Trips and tours

To help make your stay as enjoyable as possible, our team also offers tours around the island, and to local sites such as Angthong National Marine Park, Koh Tao or Koh Samui.

Snorkelling and fishing trips are also a wonderful way to pass a lazy afternoon on the water gazing upon some of the most beautiful landscapes in Asia. Being a fishing village, Chaloklum’s locals know all the best spots and we can arrange private trips for you to catch your fill.

The Wake Up! Bar and restaurant

After you have worked so hard out on the water, you may feel the need to reward yourself with a cold, refreshing Thai beer, so feel free to come back to our bar and lubricate your muscles with a few brewskis!

We also have some of the best pub grub on Koh Phangan - all made and prepared by Theresa Mann, our Lincolnshire cook. She is famous on the island for her traditional English dishes, all made from the finest imported ingredients.
